Tapertrophy is a training log. You record your sleep, your training sessions, and how you're feeling, and the app shows you patterns in what you've logged.
What it is not:
Everything the app shows you is an estimate based on what you logged. You are free to disagree with it.
Physical training carries a risk of injury, including serious injury.
You are solely responsible for every decision about your training: which exercises you do, how much weight you use, how hard you train, how often, and whether to train at all on any given day. Nothing in the app removes that responsibility or shifts it to us.
Before starting or changing a training program, you should talk to a doctor, particularly if you have any medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an injury, or have not exercised recently. Consider completing a pre-participation screening questionnaire such as the PAR-Q+.
By using Tapertrophy, you accept the risks of physical activity and agree that Fathom Reign Studios is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your training decisions.
Stop training and seek medical attention if you experience pain that isn't ordinary muscle soreness, chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any symptom that worries you.
You must be at least 16 to use Tapertrophy. If you are between 16 and 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you and agree to them on your behalf.
Tapertrophy stores everything you log on your own device. There is no account, no server, and nothing is transmitted to us. See the Privacy Policy.
Because your data lives only on your device:
Your log belongs to you. Raw data export is always available, whether or not you have purchased anything.
Tapertrophy is free to download. Logging and today's read are free permanently. Additional features are available through a single one-time in-app purchase.
Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code. Don't redistribute or resell the app. Don't use it in any way that breaks the law.
Tapertrophy is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any estimate it produces is accurate or suitable for your circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fathom Reign Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of Tapertrophy.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you actually paid for it, or twenty-five US dollars, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fathom Reign Studios from any claim arising out of your use of the app or your violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court.
You and Fathom Reign Studios each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@tapertrophy.com within 30 days of first using the app.
We may update these terms. If we do, the updated version is posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change. For material changes, we will surface a notice in the app.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
